declares the Lord." Jeremiah 29:12, 13

We, at Women Who Worship believe that prayer is the
essential ingredient in maintaining a healthy relationship
with Jesus Christ and assuring a fresh indwelling of the
Holy Spirit. Prayer is simply talking to God and spending
time with him. In prayer, you don't tell God something he
doesn't already know, but coming to God in prayer delights
our Father because it shows desire, on our part, to be with
Him and acknowledge him as our only source of blessing.
Prayer is a gift! It is something we can all do regardless of
our age or state of health. It brings us out of ourselves and
causes us to look towards God. It puts the events of our lives
into proper perspective so that we are able to lay back, breathe
a sigh of relief, and say, "God is in control! He wants the very best for me and I can trust him with my life!"

"Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 5:16
